During the Gupta period, the whole North Bengal was known as “PUNDRA VARDHAN BHUKTI “(PRADESH).It was again sub-divided into number of "VISHAYAS"(DISTRICT).KOTIBARSHA was one of the districts.Bangarh was the capital of Kotibarsha.Now the maximum area of Kotibarsha is known as Buniadpur-Gangarampur.

The College Kotibarsha Institute Of Technology and Management is promoted by Knocks Educare Foundation, Specifically to Cater to the growing needs of Management & IT Education in India.It is the prime constituent of its academic complex at Buniadpur, Dakshin Dinajpur (North Bengal), West Bengal.Over a period of time KITM has been catering to the needs of various segments of IT & Management education aspirants. The flagship programmes of the college Include Bachelor in Business administration Honours - BBA(H), Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor in Hospital Management ( BHM ), B.Sc Hotel Management, M.Sc (Computer Science).

Dear Students, Hope all of you and your loved ones are safe and well. We will be starting the academic year 2021-22, with online classes for semesters 2, 4, 6 from 12th April, 2021. The timetable for the same will be posted shortly in our college's official WhatsApp groups. We will be continuing with online classes for at least one month. Based on the Government and University directives, we will keep you updated on the mode of continuation of the semester. Even though the method of teaching & learning has altered, learning should continue in earnest. We urge each one of you to adapt to this new situation and do full justice to the online classes.
